chinese medicine has been around for 4,000 years, whereas western medicine is relatively new, particularly penicillin and antibiotics.
Taking a course of tablets that make you well in a week or ten days seemed very like magic. Chinese medicine apparently takes longer to work, but readjusts the whole body. Acupuncture is now being prescribed on the NHS for some things though. I think we are going to have to look at alternatives as bugs get more resistent to all our potions and pills.
The human body is a marvellous bit of kit. It is worth taking care of.
