Be afraid… be very afraid. :P  8)
I was trying to remember when I joined JC and these boards. I started off in the chatrooms first, then ventured out into the boards. I always preferred the chat rooms as it is more immediate, and i loved the banter and the fact that a group of people can interact. We had such fun some nights. I loved Peko and his long stories about his passion for gerbils and hamsters. And dred scott would come in and cause riots. There were some amazing characters with bundles of humour and energy, and the ability to create mayhem very easily with a few choice words. And fay googling away for everyone our own google queen. There were rows and fights and lies and bullying. The perves would pounce into your box as soon as you entered the lobby and everyone perfected a technique for “closing their box” as fast as possible. But there were times when i would be crying with laughter at some of the antics…. and in a place where people would type actions….we could do just about whatever we wanted, including *pushing X out of the window*, *shooting Y with Pats elephant gun* etc etc. People’s imagination could run wild and the results were often hilarious.
I formed some very good friendships, and some not so good ones. But I never regret the day i put some words into the Google search engine and found this place.
22 March, 2010 at 7:21 pm #436326It sounds like he is part time NHS and part private. A lot of consultants are not full time employees, so am not sure how much good your email will do. They have a set amount of NHS clinics. However, if your GP thinks you are urgent, he can put pressure on for you to be seen earlier, AND if you phone up you may be able to get a cancellation if someone pulls out at the last minute!
It infuriates me that with appointments being in such sort supply, people regular do not attend without phoning up to let anyone know. Their appointment slot goes empty! Someone else isn’t being seen, and the hospital doesn’t get paid.
I half jokingly said i’d like to see people getting fined for missing their appointments without good reason!

hmmmmm
22 March, 2010 at 6:45 pm #436324They are trying to introduce an 18 week rule from the date your referral is received until you get treatment. If you are waiting months, you should be able to ask to be referred to a different hospital.
21 March, 2010 at 8:27 pm #436257The thing is.. holy days are not necessarily Sunday, depending on the faith. I mean, I think Wiccans probably don’t particularly like Sundays. Friday nights would probably be more to their liking. And as a practicing Jedi, I only worship on May the 4th.

I’ve got one. I’ve got one. There’s this big beardy bloke who lives in the sky who made everything and he sends floods and earthquakes when we upset him. And he hates gays. And he’s left grass everywhere by accident.
I don’t believe in grass.
17 March, 2010 at 7:04 pm #435610Well you offend my sensibilities…….but you are harmless really. I still object to your avatar, but I guess in a way its a form of irony. Because you don’t really want to aline yourself with his terrorist activities, and you aren’t even a proper muslim.
Your wooden spoon is getting tatty round the edges though Gaz
