Let’s face it a person has to be somehow or other connected with the crime in the first place; suspected of some sort of involvement in its commission; arrested by police; questioned at length; eventually charged; a file has to go to the CPS; they refuse to actually prosecute unless there is a ”reasonable prospect of conviction”.
Of course they’re guilty and it’s only because of bleeding heart apologists for criminals that they get off.
And the longer a serious crime goes unsolved, there’s no pressure on the police to ‘wrap it up? :roll:
