Like i said in another post whats gone is gone look forward and forget the differences forget whats gone on in the past and deal with and live in the present and be who you want to be and no ones victim.

I’m afraid I find that to be somewhat idealistic and a far too simple view.

It is easy to say “be who you want to be and no one’s victim” but for some ppl that is easier said than done.

Take this example:

“Four police officers will face misconduct proceedings over their force’s failure to properly help the family of Fiona Pilkington, who killed herself and her severely disabled daughter in 2007 after years of torment by youths, the police watchdog said.”

Fiona Pilkington didn’t want herself and her daughter to be “victims” – she and her family and neighbours did everything they could to avoid it but were ignored by the powers that be.

Then there’s the double suicide of two women who complained to police of harrassment:

I’m sure all these dead ppl would have loved to have just been who they wanted to be and no one’s victim.
