Jesus…..this thread is just as boring here as it is on PATS!!!!!
Just sayin :)
We’re a sedate lot here. Even on the rare occasion we venture into the world of naughty words, they get censored.

Seriously though, it’s impt to est why you want to be together. It might be for financial reasons, or the fear of being on your own.
The reasons for wanting to be together have to be for the good of both, not for the benefit of one party.
Yeah..never base your relationship on that one party no matter how good it was.
The last time I went to a party they had jelly and ice cream (it was a long time ago…)Doesn’t surprise me. I bet you never got invited back.

GO Team Great Britain
We would have won another gold if bamboo eating was a recognised Olypmic sport.
I would have put those Chinese pandas to shame. :D

I guess it depends if the person you are in the relationship with have the same priorities and want the same things from life.
If they don’t, well can a compromise be reached or do you go your own separate ways?
The main thing you both need to want is to be together. Keep things simple and don’t complicate things when you don’t need to.
Indeed. I put mine and Mr Panda’s longevity down to our mutual dislike of cucumber, sweet corn and mixed peppers.

The problem is you call them and invite them over but they tell you to go away and that they hate you. You plead and ask them again, saying how you don’t like us being like this with each other. Once more you are told to leave them alone, they hate you and want no more to do with you. But i love you and want you back so badly you say. This time not even a reply, just a dead phone line.
You climb on top of a roof and wonder if life is ever that simple before dropping to your death.
Im sure this is the lyrics of a song… thought it was the Streets Dry Your Eyes Mate… realise it isnt…. but is it from a song Wake if so which one?
Tryin’ to pull her close out of bare desperation
Put my arms around her tryin’ to change what she’s sayin’
Pull my head level with hers so she might engage in
Look into her eyes to make her listen again
I’m not gonna feckin’, just feckin’ leave it all now
‘Cause you said it’d be forever and that was your vow
And you’re gonna let our things simply crash and fall down
You’re well out of order now, this is well out of town
She pulls away, my arms are tightly clamped round her waist
Gently pushes me back and she looks at me straight
Turns around so she’s now got her back to my face
Takes one step forward, looks back, and then walks awayBreaks your heart listening to this….Dry your eyes mate :(
Words of anguish. It’s very sad, but the lesson is clear; maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
I think you get better at relationships when you reach a certain age and your priorities change.I guess it depends if the person you are in the relationship with have the same priorities and want the same things from life.
If they don’t, well can a compromise be reached or do you go your own separate ways?

I don’t like apples. Guess I’ve complicated things now, huh.
