had me totally gripped from opening chapter poli. i cant believe i have never read her before. i looked on my book club yesterday and have written down 10 as a must read. the 3 i got today are prob the ones i most wanted but wont be happy till i have worked my way thro the lot.

if i remember rightly last yr when emily got booted fa a racist remark she was given no air time whatsoever and never mentioned again. altho i suspect the newspapers will be chasin foul mouthed alex for stories.
