Is it necessary to use this prefix when replying to a post knowing the recipient will disagree. Surely its possible to have a difference of opinion without falling out. Is the art of discussion having the ability to be able to listen to others point of view and ideas.

I know two seasoned old tarts who often disagree, however, if you diss one of them the other will rip your throat out! They stay faithful and have the maturity to get over it.

It seems a shame to me that people do actually fall out for being individual.
