what the parents eat and the babies starve ? There’s drought the crops fail no one eats what do we tell them it might not rain next year dont have kids ?
we tell them that its common sense..i’m sure they aint all illiterate…….that having babies when they cant feed themselves is a pretty fookin stupid idea. :roll:

Seriously considering it. They need volunteers in Tanzania, Uganda, Cambodia, Thailand etc. etc.

It’s all very well handing over tax payers in other countries cash or humanitarian aid, but these countries eventually become dependant on handouts and do not ever manage to find the skills through education to become self sufficient. Their Govts won’t help because they are to busy spending money on bullets and bombs, so once again it is left to the West to bail them out.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. And until these countries learn to become self sufficient there will be many more famines.

Population control isn’t the issue any more Pats… but drought and damage to infrastructure through war is. They are watching their children die in front of their eyes. This isn’t a question of having too many children and not being able to feed them. And yes you are right.. it isn’t their fault.
In another thread there was an outpouring of grief and horror because a dog was skinned alive for the fur trade. But yet on this thread.. it is as Actor paraphrased earlier in this thread… let them eat stand pipes!
It has the same effect on both threads… a lot of people like to shut their eyes to horrid happenings we have no control over.

i dont close my eyes to it. i just see the result of pouring millions in to help them……..zilch!.
