So the answer is what, those that can afford to pay have to pay and those that can’t are let off scot free ? The law is the law, rightly or wrongly and is there to be followed. Now it might turn out that your side is mitigating enough for the £80 fine to be rescinded, but i’d say they’re just carrying out procedure at the moment.
