Of course it’s ridicolous to stop a nurse wearing a crucifix. However the author of the article (a muslim) seems to think that the “social fabric” of Britain is becoming frayed because Christianity is being attacked.
Also “as we lose our strong moral compass, family breakdown and violent crime are at record levels”.
I would certainly argue that these are social problems, and nothing to do with religion. The vast majority of people in this country who have morals do not get them because of the values of any religion.
So there’s no correlation between the loss in morals and the decline of the church whatever its denomination ? So we must get morals off our parents therefore parents must be rubbish nowadays ?
