The hunt kills very few because it’s cheaper to shoot them than to own a horse and a pack of dogs costs far less, it is not natural to hunt with dogs. Fox numbers are still stable and are expected to remain stable. Death from disease although not nice is natural, we kill because we can and no one and nothing can stop of if its what we want to do. We shoot far more than we hunt and i never said hunt saboteurs were effective or necessary, i’d imagine half of them are there just for the crack.
Dog packs hunt by tearing any larger animal apart, african wild dogs do, wolves do, a smaller prey would be swiftly dispatched simply because of the size difference.
How can a video be ridiculous, it’s documentary evidence where are the quick humane videos from the hunting fraternity ? They dont exist because it isn’t true that the fox dies painlessly and quickly, it isnt true that fox hunting with hounds controls fox numbers, it isnt true that foxes take huge numbers of lambs, it isnt true that thousands are out of work because of the ban. It’s a blood lust because they can because it makes them feel good the mighty hunters, which is why drag hunting isn’t an alternative for these people, they get to exercise the hound and ride the horses but there’s no blood and that just isnt on

Why would predation figures be out of date (DEFRA figures give similar values btw) and they’d grab the neck when ? They run alongside the fox till they reach the neck where a single dog gives it a shake and the fox is instantly dead ?

The date of thje figures isnt relevant it was an official body not pro or anti hunt therefore figures are likely to have been more accurate.
Fox hunting isnt carried out to control numbers, the Isle of Wight didnt have any foxes until they were imported for the purpose of hunting. It’s cruel and its illegal and because some people think it should be repealed doesn’t mean it’s ok. Hounds do not nip the back of the foxes neck and quickly kill it, no dog hunts like that
