I’ve had a triplet opal hanging around in my gem box for months and though I love it never had any idea what to do with it. The other night as I was falling asleep I had this vision of a petal in a matte finish and came up with this.

I’ve never bid for anything on Ebay before but got it into my head to make some rings out of teaspoons……….. Found just what I wanted and these were hallmarked 1940’s teaspoons and I won the bid !

I’ve made six and have sold 3 !

Unfortunately someone saw it and asked me to make one with 3 peas in a pod with matching earrings !!!

The pendant wasn’t so bad to make but my god the earrings took me all day and at the last minute I melted the peas ! The pods are made out of fine silver but the peas are made out of Argentium Silver.

That’s a very heartfelt thought provoking post Angela. Everyone at times posts or says something that others may take offence to or dislike. As a poster or chatter cannot hear the intonation in one’s voice many things can be misconstrued resulting in people reading into things that simply aren’t there.
