Trade Unions: the people who brought you the weekend, health & safety at work, capped working hours, employment rights and protection, fair wages and pensions, maternity and paternity rights, injury and sickness benefits, paid holidays and put an end to child labour. What a bunch of greedy bastirds.
28 November, 2011 at 3:43 am #483462gosh i come from a generation when it was saw as sad NOT to take drugs. the erse end of Northern Soul Speed into the heavier Tuinal, leading to Smack days. I knew somehow , even way back then. Punk arrived, the heady days of somehow pretending we were wild and carefree.. Live fast die young .. I have watched pals die through addiction based ordeals from Hepatitis to full Blown Aids.. and guess what EVERY one of them from a decent family.. !.
I was a bore back then..My personal stoner was bands and music..a few beers. I can remember living in London with my peers almost snorting in derision at my ” safeness”. How an outfit from Camden market could turn me on..FAAAAAAR more than something to inject.
R.I P you lot.. i still miss the memory of you all..
I was boring and chose life. Dont make me any better than you. no ! but i am on my second generation ! bring on the third.. :)
wild, wild days…

it didn’t work jen, and in fact made things worse.
Given what was being posted at the time, it couldn’t have made things worse…just a bit of mindless frivolity amongst all the bitchiness, harmless enough. Maybe we should all join in the bitching instead, but it really isn’t my style (where is there a shruggy emoticon when you want one?!?!)
i do freestyling poetry when im all annoyed jen .. takes me seconds and vents the auld spleen :)
16 November, 2011 at 12:23 am #482954Dont be daft su,, and a BIG helllooooo :) you tried your best and things were fine until the usual mafia took over. You were not to blame. Some folks thrive on it. xx
