I still have this iawful mage of Karen Matthews (mother of Shannon) being supported by her “friends” – all up in arms at the terrible thing apparently having been done to her ‘missing’ daughter.
I find it really hard to accept that nobody had the slightest inkling that Karen Matthews was a ‘wrong ‘un’.
In the same way, I find it really hard to accept that Baby P’s mother somehow managed to fool ALL of her friends – including her childminder, who saw Baby P practically every day, and apparently noticed nothing at all.
Yes it’s the easy option to blame the social services and those that were in charge, but maybe we ought to look at ourselves a little bit harder eh?

I agree with most of what lovely lady said. YES there WERE mistakes made. But we HAVE to remember this was a very cunning “mother” who grew up learning to screw the system.
I personally know health visitors and social workers, and they are getting scared to go into certain parts here, as its THEM thats being interrogated, by the public. and every disagreement ends with the usual ” oh you lot are rotten look at the baby p case” By some shyte parent who is holding their baby upside down to feed it! One health visitor friend of mine has been refused entry into houses !
A great paranoia has swept this nation. And the Sun and the daily mail continue to drip feed the masses.Giving them little teasers here and there to keep circulation levels high. Pleasing their advertisers no end.
People ,, oh dear people, it was the 3 accused that killed this bairn. Not the system, the state,the health visitors.
But sheer evil. Something Wicked this way comes…
and for the record, i hope the 3 accused get battered on a daily basis !
Socialism never killed this child PB.. a 6 foot 4 B.N.P member with a fascination for hitler and the reich, and Nazi imagery DID. and a so called “mother” let him do it.

feel free to edit PB.. NOT that im personally scared.. but if you fear there will be any comebacks to the site. Its common knowledge now, but it wont surprise me if the defence use the naming of them as a form of get out clause to free them !

Use the negative energy to look after your own kids, and kids around you. We are ALL angry. but time to be positive and TRY and ensure it NEVER happens again.false grief will NOT allow little Peter Connolly to rise again. He will be with us in all our hearts, due to the sheer cruelty of this particular case.
Suffice to say if Stephen Barker, Jason Barker and the woman?? ( tracey connolly) that birthed this wee laddie, were “set upon” .. all is fair in love ,war and memory !

I think one of the reasons may be that she had another baby whilst on remand. sorry to contradict PB, but the article was also written LAST year while they were first arrested. We know now that the charges of Murder have been dropped, and they all stand for the lesser charge of ” allowing a child to die”.. In light of the possibility of her being set free, they wont be able to name them now,to protect the identity of the new baby girl. This child was taken from Connoly at birth, despite hooh hah from social workers,back then that “she” was not able to Bond with the baby, and innocent until proven guilty malarky !
Thats the only reason i can think of.
She seems a cunning barstird, and has played the social work department ALL her life, she seems to think she has inside information and has been bragging she will be OUT BY XMAS, and re united with the wee girl !The mind boggles !
