I know nothing about dogs.. we had cheeky the cocatiel that laid eggs on my feet ! .. usually in her cage when the family were out, id see her rocking back and forth protecting her egg ! a vet told me to remove it, as she would get all attached to an unfertilised egg. so my man used to make me do it LOL.. like the big baddie. She HATED me, as i ruined her chance of motherhood.. That was the same wee bird that came to me when she needed a pal, and died all cosy in my cleavage.
Id imagine the same with any animal OR human.. to give them false hope. ?? surely ??
