and im adding a dreadful poem i did last night..wasnt my best but came from the Heart !
she never forgot a thing,My friend.
the parties over,the future mends,
and yeah the Piper Must be paid,
and memories then,will never fade.and christmas came,as christmas does,
passes over with no fuss.
and then new year,with NO phone call
“from us ti you lets have a ball”and the weekends have been bare, wee lamb.
no more weekenders,I miss ye maam.
of lives unjust,no miracles granted.
then come the Monday,how we ranted.!a day went by,she was not here,
a promise we made,to get outta fear.
the days,then weeks all silenced with refrain.
the worry from me as i SUssed that “pain” .I knew something was amiss,as i missed that kiss.
i missed the laughter,and mornings after..
My letters and missives,i knew NOT were read.
of being soo alive,yet hopelessly dead.and no reply came,dear pal of my dreams.
and unbeknown,planner in “our” schemes.
your silence,while deafening,was somewhat profound,
I cursed you,! thinking..id forgotten MY round.!Then i heard you were ill,of a serious kind,
I rushed down there,with intentions in mind…
of cheering ye up and making you all ” better!”
of somehow saving you,for “us” and in fine fetter.ya fell asleep ya daft malt,as i sat on a train.
My journey down south,was almost in vain.
but HOW could i have left ya,in a final goodbye ?
I saw ye at peace,as i tried not to cry.and ya smiled

oh i can tell ye dates shazza,,battle o hastings 1066 and all that pish..the great fire o london staring in Pudding fecking Lane et al..but DONT ask me a question about south west Engerland ! Though i suppose sunny is classed as a “northerner!” Ironically i know the East coast of Engerland..through years and years of passing Border contol to get back to london ! vaccines included :) Hell i know me Norfolks from me Granthams..my Essex from me Kents…

i admit to being a wee bit older than 21 and my stoke and derby pals are having a night oot ! I met them all 8/9 years ago and we first met THIS very weekend 8 years ago..One of them died last year,and she was a damm good personal pal. They know i Miss her.so invited me down. It will be a great laugh ! they offered to pay the fare.but im dead proud ! its a long journey from NE scotland to overland Stoke on trent !
im normally ever so spontaneous ! but i made myself,if not a resolution ,but more a promise,,that i would cease hard living LOL..thing is, these English lassies are lightweights ! we all get on EVER so well.and im in agreement that it will indeed be a “giggle! ..

aye, so far being 38 isnt too painful,I tested my hip capacity today by walking to the pub ! and i didnt need to hold onto the railings ! heck i even managed to listen to contemporary music without the need to say ” aye these young uns have NO taste”.. Im sat here in my new jammies,shocking pink ! first thing i do when i get home,is lamps on,jammies on,check e mails..and now im going to pour myself a whisky.
its MY party and i will fooking RANT if i want to …
