I’m all for fox hunting as a means of controling the fox population in the countryside they can be very destructive not to mention carry all kinds of nasty diseases.

By all means chase the fox as a means of entertainment. Any decent huntmaster will run his hunt with the greatest of respect but if foxy goes to ground then he’s escaped fair & square. Leave him be.
