i glad we have the nhs, n i wudnt want it any other way tbh. the only problem i have with em is that they r often under staffed n over worked, n most of them dont speek a word of english. sad but true
True??? I somehow doubt this. Surely you cannot be suggesting that “most” NHS employees cannot speak a word of English??? Maybe a few here and there don’t have quite the comand of the language that you clearly do – judging by your spelling at any rate – but to suggest that “most of them dont speek a word of english” is nothing short of ludicrous.
my spellin is bad yes, but i can hold a decent convarsation. ppl can understand my spoken english. last time i went in hospital i asked em what was wrong with me n they explaned but cud i understand em cud i hell. it was broken english… with words missed out. thats the only problem i have with em… n apart from the long waitin hours n understaffed nurses… everythin else was tickety boo.
Might I suggest that your spelling is selectively bad will.
If you had problems understanding what you were being told you should of asked them to repeat it. No healthcare professional would knock you for that.
The NHS might not be perfect but, I for one am proud to work for it. :)

As much as I love the snow Ive now had 3 and a half days off because of it and I’m beginning to get the jitters! I want to get out but have no chance at the moment, I can’t bear driving in it and am relying on neighbours for supplies. However, I;m going to attempt it tomorrow I think, I’m packing a bag with a shovel, blanket, candle, flask of coffee, two mobile phones, wellies and a bar of chocolate! Have I missed anything out?

something to light the candle with ??? lol
Ive got five lighters and box of matches ! lol
Personally I think you’d be better off with a torch ! Don’t forget the spare batteries though.

8 February, 2009 at 10:21 am #148845Yep …. was late for a my daughters class assembly, jumped in the car drove off a bit quick like one does. Very soon realised that there was a police car behind me. Flapped a bit coz I hadn’t got my seat belt on & in my haste, the car clipped the kerb!
You guessed it I was pulled & given the 12th degree. Asked me if I had been drinking – cheeky sod. I even offered to blow in his little bag for him. O:)
Little jobs worth with him had my car PNC checked everything, I had the last laugh though. They had nothing on me daft sods were more interested in trying to get me for being a pished joyrider. Oh & I was late & the look I got off my daughter was enough punishment.  Moral of the story ….. BELT UP.
Which film made the biggest impact on you??
