Btw, GTA IV is feckin fantastic!! :D

where do ya think sgt peppers been for the last week!

Huge Huge HUGE fan of the GTA series and this one is UBER!!

The best prior to IV was the super sleazy VICE CITY methinks. SAN ANDREAS was brill, but I feel that what it gained in size it lacked in quality  .. it was just too goddam expansive! Way too big – leading to some very flat periods of gameplay I thought. Still streets ahead of most though.

But GTA IV is a work of sublime genius =P~ .. I’ve hardly slept a wink since I pushed and beat teenagers outta the way to grab my copy early last week!
It has put a serious dent in my tarting exploits on here too let me tell ya :P .

The whole eastern immigrant influence, the expected improved graphic fluidity, the much better radius restricted police chases, the sat nav, the (thank feck) totally rehauled hand to hand / shootout modes.. and the coup de grace that is the omnipotent mobile phone with all it’s perks and wonders.

I had a few different names when I started using the rooms way WAY back. But about 6 months in or so the great Pepper Shaking occured and (apart from the odd deviance) I’ve pretty much stuck with it all this time. Certainly haven’t changed things the last few years.

The originals I signed in with were almost always movie based… Gollum, Spiderman, HULK (now that one caused quite a stir I can tell you  ), Donnie Darko, Han Solo, Keyser Soze, Intermission, Boromir .. to name but a few.

Oh and I went by the name of Spoon for a while too – ppl took quite a umm.. shine to that :P

You are 60% Unlikely to be abducted by aliens. and 40% Likely to be abducted by aliens..

You have either been abducted by aliens or suffer from severe delusional duress and phobic psychosis. PLEASE seek the help of a qualified researcher and/or therapist.

*hums the X files theme tune*

Curiously enough, the title of the new X Files movie is I Want To Believe.. and although this time around the sexually repressed duo of Mulder and Scully veer away from the UFO gig.. the title sums up my feelings on the whole matter.

Much like my take on the recent Ghosts poll, I tend to believe in the existence of other life forms in the .. well.. known universe as well as elsewhere. But needless to say I’ve not had one single shred of personally witnessed evidence to verify anything  . I can’t PROVE a thing.

I was raised a Catholic, and although I’m no bible basher and find huge flaws in the whole set up – I have witnessed at first hand how Faith can be a powerful thing  .

For some reason that is very difficult to quantify, I have, well, what could be described as a Faith based curiousity in “supernatural” things. I don’t know whether it works off any particular rationale as such, but I do think Pikey’s assertion is very healthy food for thought. Some manner of mythological genepool phenomena wherein “we think, therefore THEY are” is an excellent hypothesis.. every bit as fertile as the ET gig methinks.

Sian’s episode is both fascinating and terrifying, and I for one truly believe it’s what she believed happened.

    I want to believe too!
