Despite their lowly position , Leeds have a huge following here in Ireland, a core support from the Revie days mixed with the triumphant class of 92 and the more recent profligate days of the late nineties / early noughties.
I was in the south stand, behind the goal on the west side. We had a great (if it can be called that) view of both goals. The Tranmere lad took the first one well, but the defending was sloppy… and the least said about the training ground second the better – atrocious marking.
Anyway, as I said, things can only get better…
Can’t they? :roll:6 February, 2008 at 10:04 pm #307108@r.O.T.T wrote:

fancy a pint?
i’m goingSorry bro.. I left early friday and didn’t return till the start of the week, so I didn’t get to see your kind offer. Good news is that I shall be returning to Leeds very soon .. certainly before the end of the season, and a beverage or twelve with your good self in the umm plush Elland Road environs of the”The Old Peacock” would be most welcome. The bad news of course is how utterly awful the not so Mighty Whites were last saturday :? .. but things can only get better huh?
Wonderful city though.. It’s been a wee while since I made the trip so twas mighty fine to be there.
Mighty fine place indeed  .31 January, 2008 at 5:21 pm #307938How about a song with lyrics that go quite a way to illustrating JC itself?
Well then..
Definitely National Express by THE DIVINE COMEDY in my opinion :P.Oh and if I can .. umm squeeze in another one 8-[ .. then Let’s Get It On by MARVIN GAYE.

In saying that, I wish him well on his trip to the lazy, underachieving retirement home that is Newcastle Utd  .
Superb to see Gary Mac back though.. he deserves a chance.. though the fancy footy he likes to play may not shine strong in League One  .
Still.. Great to have him.. Hopefully it works out :) .

This brilliant album is getting a right good listening to on the old “Pepper-Pod” at the mo (and indeed on the car stereo on the way into work here today).
Right, a couple of tunes from it..
