So how come most mobile users are seemingly more concerned with all the additional gadgets and functions on their phones – none of which have anything at all to do with their primary purpose???

In so many ways they have become a metaphor for living in today’s world. We seem to have lost sight of any sense of purpose and buy things for all the additional benefits rather that focussing on their fundamentals.

BTW I predict the end of civilisation, as we know it, sometime before Christmas.

Well… as I work in a non-internet environment, I do use mine to check e-mails/facebook/myspace at least ever half an hour…. the boredom!

BUT…. I pay a fiver a month for that privilage… hardly last of the big spenders?

I think spotty teenager managed the SP3 update tonight, it went quiet earlier which is always a good sign.

I just need no surprise money demands and I can get one… youngest came home today with a letter asking for an 80 quid depo for a holiday to Bude next year.

And we just got a new clutch and break stuff on the car, to the tune of £400 bloody quid so things arent tight they are non-existant!

Good links though, I do want value for money, the best I can get.

yeah I kinda know Im going to have to have it at some point, but Im hoping to have a new downstairs PC soonish and thats why Ive not re-installed any of my photos/music etc, Im saving that long task for a new PC as I said this one is ill in the hardware somewhere…

Its a put-together PC by a friend and cost 300 quid 3 years ago. Im hoping(fingers crossed) to have a budget of £500 for a new PC….. so, any recommendations?
