Nothing to do with mean Media Coverage? It was live in the Courtroom.
You said the coverage was 24/7.
Do you mean the media coverage or are you saying the trial itself was a 24 hour, 7 days a week live event?5 October, 2008 at 5:33 pm #378540@johnboy25 wrote:

After counting them that might not be a bad idea
It was just curiousity about the number of posts he makes that made me count them.

I would say there was a lot of evidence in the Murder Trial.
Please feel free to elaborate.
I’ve served on jury service – twice – and I don’t ever recall evidence from those trials being made public.
 Here on Planet Earth there was 24hr coverage of the trial, evidence and all.
Media coverage – where you’ve obviously got your information from – is infamously biased.
The jury would not have been allowed access to it for that reason alone.
Show me one bit of evidence that would’ve convinced the jury he was guilty.5 October, 2008 at 5:05 pm #377728@Bad Manners wrote:

Can you not understand that I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in your “humour” or your well-worn cliches?
Try sticking to the topic for a change.
Sorry, I thought you mentioned it. Obviously my mistake, you wouldn’t have done that if you didn’t care.
And what exactly has this got to do with the topic that you’re so keen to stick to?
Try thinking before you speak, you’re falling all over yourself with those comments.
I’m not speaking…I’m typing.
And I’m not falling over either.
Your opinions on the topic (not on me) would be interesting to read if you actually bothered to make some.My point of view is this;
The first time he stood trial a jury found him not guilty.
That verdict was based on the evidence put before them. It’s all very well and clever for people to make comments on here proclaiming his guilt in the murder of his wife but where was the evidence?
This is the whole point of the judicial system in that you are innocent until proven guilty.

well. the final of boot camp tonight, wonder what 12 will go and who will stay.. kinda easy to spot with a few of them that forgot their words and the group that didnt even rehearse. The groups kinda get on my wick a wee bit.I mean how many4 or 5 part harmony groups do we need. ? I MUST be getting auld :) some of the older folks are goodish but i admit they can err on the side of cheesy cabaret. I hope it goes on talent though and not on sob story. While i am as sympathetic as the next person, I think its wrong to announce all this in the opening show.Roll on 6.10 pm.
/easily bemused. dundee.
Agreed.
I thought Laura was decent enough.
One of the things I remembered thinking last night was how funny to see two average singers such as Cheryl and her mate pass judgement on some really talented solo singers.Actually that crossed my mind as well ! What would they know about real music,, as in the craftmanship of songwriting/musicians/production etc ?
I must admit, shazza spoilt it for me LOL.. her friend went in for the auditions and I learnt there are 3 sets of auditions to get through. Its not as if they wander off the streets into the room of Messrs. Cowell,Walsh et al.. So how do many of the JOKE acts get through, the old man playing the spoons ffs. and Worse still the ones who make it into the next round, setting them up with false hopes, all in the name of “fun” . Half the folks who go on are not quite the full shilling,to say the least. So how many genuinely good singers are waylaid..?
I quite like the quirkiness of Diana. She is unusual. But that usually hinders, rather than helps. I think Austin will win, but he HAS to stop bloody greeting !! ( crying) too emotional he might come over as. And its a cut throat world out there.
Pats was banging the drum for Austin last night.
Rubes, strange as it may seem, there must be dozens of talented singers out there who didn’t even bother applying for the show.
When you look at the houses (or mansions) that the judges own it just goes to show what an amazing business showbusiness is.
Especially the judging side of the show.5 October, 2008 at 2:35 pm #378508Chocolate hell – for me – is when you can’t get your hands on any.
I’ve got a Curly Wurly, Topic and Ruffle bar within easy reach.
Excuse me while I make them disappear.5 October, 2008 at 2:19 pm #377592pip, I swear it’s true.
