From Sheffield South Yorkshire – lived here all my life. I have moved four houses in a radius of about 4 miles if that. I’m from a typical steelworking background with a very close knit family. It’s a shame.
When you saw Meadowhall on the left of the M1 and those towers on the right you knew you were “oop north”.

I used to visit Sheffield on a regular basis and I do remember Stannington, Crosspool and the Eccleshall Road among other places.
