Hi Lesta :D
I think message boards are a good place for the slightly less-confident tbh – you can take your time getting to know people if you want to.
Chat rooms are a little more difficult because they move at a faster pace, and you have to be able to push yourself forward or you will be left out.

Oh My Goodness! Thanks Squeezy & Thank you Dawny! :) :) :) I don’t care what anybody says (namely Kate), you’re angels!

At least I know I’m a good mother – Regardless if I get a Happy Mother’s Day or not.
And Soulie, for some reason our Mother’s Day is different over here than yours. But, like Squeezy said, Mothers always love to feel loved and appreciated every day.
Thanks again ladies – Your both very sweet

xoxoxoHappy Mother’s Day Yank! :D
Our’s is on the same day as yours, the Brit’s (of course) HAVE to be difficult and have it on a different date  8)
That’s cos we’re special 8)

Am really annoyed at a neighbour who I thought was a friend. Apparently she has fell out with us, but it seems she forgot to tell us :? Her son is having a birthday party tonight and they have invited all the kids in the area and didnt invite my ikkle un, I only found out when another neighbour phoned and asked did I want her to bring ikkle un home with her after the trip to the zoo and she will drop her at the party with her kids. Poor Crianne has had to sit on that school bus while everyone has been talking about that party and the poor kid has never said a word about it
Awww…poor Crianne xsxs That’s so rotten doing that to a child.
Same thing happened to my lad last year – a lad in our street invited everyone except Callum to his party (he’s older and a bit of a bully anyway) – we took Cal away out for the afternoon so he wouldn’t see them.
Hope you find out what the mother’s problem is…I can put up with people falling out with me, but it bugs me if I don’t know why….

Fife is beautiful.
I wouldn’t say that is true, Runway. I could show you parts of the east coast where the romance, mystery and atmosphere would take your breath away: dark mysterious Suffolk – the land of the three crowns of England – or windswept Northumberland coasts of ruined abbeys, castles and half remembered epic battles.
 You could but you won’t  It all sounds beautiful… *dreams*
My mum is off to brownsea… she works for John Lewis and they have a Hotel on the island, partners only!!! it looks beautiful

It does look lovely.
My mum has too many flipping holidays, always away on mini-cruises and things. Think she is going to Austria this year – again
16 May, 2006 at 11:31 pm #218337It’s okay – but I’m not concentrating on it much…
