I noticed in the shops a lot of cards which had the writing ‘You’re like a dad to me’ which is quite sweet (and reflects the society we live in today I guess) and anyway, it takes more of a man to look after someone else’s child as they would their own. =D>

I don’t know anyone in my immediate family or friends who doesn’t have their Dad, so I suppose I can’t really comment on the situation :? – what I will say though, is that I agree with Mary on the fact that I couldn’t imagine life without my kids, and therefore can’t understand how others can just walk away.
