My mum has a family living next door whose mother thinks she is really modern but some of her parenting methods shock me.

First of all she smoked through all 4 pregnancies (4 within 5 years) so all her babies were kept in hospital for bronchitis – and she boasts about how she had tiny little babies. :?

She lets them run wild – even her 2 year old girl wanders the street – usually naked. :? She was told that there was a strange man going about the street during the summer talking to little kids and she just laughed. :shock:

I’m in agreement that there should be compulsory parenting courses.
