I felt this quote followed on nicely from Susie’s. Having spent years trying to conform, to meet other people’s expectations of me, of struggling to fit in, of trying to be a serious grown-up and doing the things that grown-ups are supposed to do, for me the message is don’t beat yourself up because you’re not like everyone else but be true to yourself and embrace your differences, don’t take yourself too seriously and remember to have fun along the way.
