Has no-one ‘spotted Steve’ yet?
Been there many times, it has the best people you will find anywhere in the world. It is, without a doubt, my favourite country. You will have a fantastic time, believe me. They are intelligent yanks, without the gobs.

Specials, Beat, Madness, Selector, (still) The Jam, The Clash, SLF, Stranglers, etc… early 80’s was still good for music, in my opinion.
20’s was fine, 40’s is fine. Music was better in the late 70’s / early 80’s. Can’t play at a competitive standard of football anymore which is the greatest regret as I tended to take it (and fitness) for granted. More money now, less worries then. It’s all horses for courses really.
