The so called boring team in the Prem, that keep getting to Euro semi’s and do back to back championships are now the most boring team ever. I think it takes character to get where Chelsea have got to. We can talk for a week about the billionarre, but at the end of the day, over ten years, Man Utd have still spent more money on players than Chelsea. It bought them titles, so why shouldn’t Chelsea have some of that? We have been a top team for a decade now, before the Abramovich era. I think Man Utd now feel challenged by money spending, something they had a stronghold on before the Russian. Live and die by it Man Utd, you are now getting a dose of your own medicine.

So the whole thread has come full circle… you’re a glory hunter, nothing to do with your roots. You didn’t support Stockport County because you had no bragging rights. Being a Man Utd supporter gives you a sense of knowledge about football. You aren’t the only one Michael.
Not for one moment have I suggested you support your local team, you said that I believe. I am just stating that southerners support northerners for glory reasons. Never been there, never likely to, but live off the back of the success.
If you lived midway between Everton and Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City, Tottenham and Arsenal, which is your local team? I’m on about the glory hunters young man, not the local team. My team play in South London, I come from South London. Your team play in Manchester (it’s kinda north and left of you) and you come from Hertfordshire, some 150 miles south. Why didn’t you support Bury or Stockport County?
