the way i see it, the earlier i get to have a baby the better, cos it means when it’s in its teens, i’ll still beable to do ‘dad’ stuff, instead of being an old man that can’t do anything cos of a bad back or what ever, i don’t wanna be in my 50’s and 60’s when it’s in its teens (mainly cos i don’t think i’m gonna last that long! lol), i wanna be 30’s 40’s!
i don’t wanna pop my clogs before he/she/they have finished school, get married or anything
that’s probably my biggest fright, popping my clogs before i get to see my first grandchild, or walking daughter down the aisle, or you know, just dad stuff!

That’s my only regret in a way, not having them younger, but i have a sister, and have been there for her a lot, so in a way, even though i’m not her dad, it feels like it at times! Been there for her from the age of twenty one, and suppose to a certain extent i will always feel responsible for her. Long story, but i hope i’m alive long enough to see her settle and get married, it’s not easy to break the bond when you’ve taught them to talk,… Read etc. A quality that i have always had. Probably be the same with my nephew, and niece, and future children.
I’d love a daughter, i can’t imagine a female version of me, but if i did ever have a daughter, then i’d be really happy.

Sorry to hear that Tommy, but there’s plenty of time, and despite the banter etc, i know you’d be able to teach a child a thing or two. Think you’re quite mature and opinionated for your age. Good qualities to have.
