Nice picture.
Looks like a very lazy yet essentially cuddly creature that will obviously need to be constantly exercised.

and welcome,. . . . . and why am I suddenly singing Bohemian Rhapsody. . ?. . . . .
11 May, 2009 at 4:22 pm #396576Indeed Jen. The bravest are often the funniest.
When Muhammad Ali had to light that flame at the Atlanta Olympics, people were really starting to think that he’d never make it. Millions were watching live all round the world as his shaking seemed to get worse and worse and it looked as if the Games would never begin.
He managed to do it though because he really was and is The Greatest.
Michael J Fox is quite inspiring as well.

But charity collections for the Blind are a wonderful opportunity for getting rid of those pesky foreign coins.

I believe there are still some Welsh-speaking settlements in Patagonia; due no doubt to the magical mix of Sheep and some very ancient chat-up lines.

Sorry people but I simply don’t accept all this stuff about driving along watching the speedometer in case a camera gets you and thereby putting yourself at higher risk of an accident. What a facile argument.
Not from me.
My point was about the proliferation of different road signs, speed limits and slip roads in one particular area, and where no one seems sure where the camera ranges apply. Add bad weather into the mix and we have cases where cameras can in fact be dangerous.
But generally this has always been and will always be a contentious matter worldwide, ever since Mr Gatso started mucking about with his polaroids.
I could say that no law has ever had to be repealed or amended, but for this persistent rumour that we live in a democracy and that legislation should serve the people and not the other way round.
There are too many divergent opinions from officialdom for anything to be set in stone. One American Highways Report stated that :
“Experience has shown that speed limits set arbitrarily below the reasonable and prudent speed perceived by the public are diificult to enforce, produce noncompliance, encourage disrespect for the law, create unnecessary antagonism towards law enforcement officers, and divert traffic to lesser routes.”
