Did I miss something here?…..How come my post from socks and sandals ended up as a post on this thread?… it was meant as a joke….confused?
There is something quintessentially British about the knotted handkerchief/rolled up trousers/socks and sandals look Mrs T. Sorry if I was out of turn in reproducing your post.

It’s the devil’s own job keeping a bloodline pure when you belong to a trading nation – bloody sailors!!!
Never mind being a warring nation – bloody soldiers!!!

It’s logical that our ties with Europe should be formalised where necessary. The Union isn’t perfect, but that’s the way with treaties. Being outside the Union would not be perfect either. We have a vested interest in Peace in Europe and should be in a position to play as full a part as possible in maintaining it.
As to this treaty on which you’re voting Pepper, unfortunately, the banks control things and British people have long voted with their feet and at the ballot box for that to continue. I’m not sure the treaty will protect ordinary people sufficiently from either their capricious banks or mendacious politicians, but I’m glad to hear that Irish people are actually sufficiently engaged with the process to be driven round the bend by its complexities.

socks and sandles are a big no-no for anyone no matter what age and Words you can get clear plasters to protect your precious feet for sores.
Why get sores in the first place? If god meant us to wear sandals she wouldn’t have invented shoes!
