What makes home so special to you? To me it’s my shelter, center of operations and fueling point. The time i appreciate it the most is after i’ve been away. The longer i’ve been away from home, the more i appreciate it. Got my cycling trip coming up very soon and while it will be great, it will be a welcome relief to get back home and have a hot bath and sleep in my own bed again.

What love about coming home, first coming in taking off my shoes, and putting on baggy comfortable clothing..my dog greeting me with his hidden stash of bone treats, as he is on a diet and I think he knows it too. Ha ha..many large plants have grown from babies in which are my delight and passion to see when weather dark/dim or in winter months…when no green. My kitchen and den favorite part of house. Love to cook and is a rather large kitchen with big counter/long space. Windows over look good portion of my property in the rear, and also much more land with trees, wooded and nice. And the multiple deer families have too who come very close to house. I have twin fawns, still many spots who seem to think live here. Hang out and sleep in open. Cute actually. Finally, a place I can shut out the rat races, be me and do what I want, look how I want, sing loud if want and no one to tell you what have to do or must do….

Ha ha, smell think, but he actually buries them in his own bed, under my pillows. Can you imagine falling asleep hard to wake up,a dog chewing on one of those biscuits near your ear, draped over half your chest? Mine loves that position. Smallest dogs ever have had. Chihuahua. 3 at one time brothers, sadly last one now and getting older, he was the runt of the liter… 10 in July… my beagle took in remains of some poor left over animal found in woods would creep me out. My cat does me front door with something always.. so everyone remembers to bring something home to mama…
