11 September, 2012 at 1:12 pm #18057I know somebody who has 1,012 friends on Facebook. I’ve only got 94 and that feels like too many. 11 September, 2012 at 1:33 pm #507796I have two facebook accounts, one for real life and business, the other for JC people…one has 20 friends, the other 16. I’m thinking of pruning my real life one…I’m not really interested in watching “friends” trying to portray this wonderful family life and conspicuous consumption for one-upmanship when I know it is so different from what their lives behind closed doors are really like. If I didn’t need an account to have a business page, I probably wouldn’t bother with it. 11 September, 2012 at 1:39 pm #507797I look at the business pages on facebook and it’s like a popularity contest sometimes with all of the ‘likes’ being accumulated regardless of whether people actually like them or not.
I don’t care if my page gets no likes at all because it doesn’t mean the photographer down the road is better than me even if he does have 650 likes. He likes to think it makes a difference though.11 September, 2012 at 1:43 pm #507798Did you know that you can buy 500 “likes” for your business page for $5?
What is the point in that, I want people to like my business page because they like my business and they’re interested in what I post on there. Apparently that’s naive…11 September, 2012 at 2:02 pm #507799@jen_jen wrote: Did you know that you can buy 500 “likes” for your business page for $5?.
