that’s great Mrs T, or Granny T as we should be calling you???

teh ebst thing about being a grandpa or granny is that you get the sweet wihtout the sour when it comes to the babies….

    I think :-s

    I’m not a grandpa yet :(

    but one day???

    God help us all.

Not International Present Day, when people around the world are united in a shower of excessive consumption.

Jesus lived and died so that we could bring our children up to expect massive gifts from a fat beardy bloke in a red costume. Don’t trust strangers, celebrities or family members who want any sort of creepy physical contact with you – bit you gotta love that Santa guy. He gives you stuff!

I’m looking forward to spending time with the people I care about, but not to all the stress and greed of the present-fest.

Goodwill to everyone, and may God’s peace go with you (as opposed to Santa’s).

    :?

Well, Christmas is (and always has been) my favourite time of the year!
I’m not ashamed to say that it still brings out the little boy excitement in me.. Even more so in recent years since the birth of my daughter, and with her birthday being at the beginning of December it makes everything just perfect.
In saying that, although I may go a little OTT with the sentiment, I do try to keep the material side of things to a somewhat reasonable level.. Though admittedly I’m not always successful on that score.
As cliched as it may seem, I do try to remain clued in to the “True Meaning of Christmas” gig.

    70 days you say?

    Wahay :D/

You don’t work in customer services then..? :?

I’ve asked my next door neighbour. She says it’s something ptomilgated by chavs whilst queuing outside Greggs and talking about how long it’ll be till they next get their hands on another steak slice.

The thing is pn Satdees and Sundees I normally have a kip in the afternoon. That means there are more ‘sleeps’ (I fckn hate that word..) for me.

Why not just be retro, do what normal people do and say ‘days’. Yes..??
