Most of you have heard me constantly talk about Charles so I thought I would put an updated picture of him on the boards.

Teddy and Coco are the 2 new additions to our family, they are rescue dogs from the RSPCA and had a horrible start to life as they were kept in a cage together in a house with 17 other dogs. They are 6 years old and when we got them they had never been for a walk on a lead and had really had no socialisation so they are very scared in new situations but slowly bit by bit they are beginning to come out of their shell. I would love to hear from anyone that has taken in a rescue dog and how they have helped them to overcome any issues/problems that they might of had.

Beautiful pets Penny and so lucky to have you as a foster mummy :)

It will probably take them a few months to adapt to their new life.
A friend of mine adopted 2 dogs that were in a similar situation to the ones your dogs were saved from.
They were used for breeding and had nevr set foot out of their cages.
One is 4 and the other is 6.
    Theyre french bulldogs (mini).
When she first brought them home they were very afraid of any sort of human interaction…… but within a few months all this changed.

It just takes a little time and patience :)

PennyJ you are an amazing person for taking in not just one dog but two. We should all be humbled by this amazing act of compassion. I hope you have many years of enjoyment with all your pets and when you adopt more please please let us know. I am in awe of the way you are even living all animaly, your house even looks like a pig sty.
    Was that praise enough PennyJ?
It is bad enough in the room when you sulk when not getting enough attention, but now its on the boards too.

Bit harsh, she’s only showing off her pets. Got me thinking, might adopt a pet. Yeah if she doesn’t get the attention she expects she can get a bit sulky, But she makes up for that with her singing, when she gets drunk. It’s beautiful, lol.
