so what plans have you got to watch the game on sat?

if england win, i’l lprobably stay out drinking till the night, if england lose… well i’ll probably do the same
women.. don’t expect any help with the shopping this saturday, but feel free to take the car
7 June, 2006 at 8:12 pm #223944I want to see the Sweden v Trinidad & Tobago game too. Just to see what we’re up against.
And don’t worry what the Sweaty’s are doing soulie. They’ll fade away as England progress.
7 June, 2006 at 8:44 pm #223945Excuse me, but we dont actually care if you get to the Quarter’s.
Sure it would be a laugh if England were home after the first group stage, but it’s unlikely, so our celebration will have to wait till the Quarter’s I think.7 June, 2006 at 8:46 pm #223946Watch out for another Germany-England clash in the last 16. Im tipping Germany to win Group A, and England to finish second in Group B behind Sweden, thus setting up Germany-England.

You’re just another bitter and twisted Sweaty where football’s concerned, and as such your opinion counts for zilch!
Take up curling or something and let the venom go! :wink:7 June, 2006 at 9:45 pm #223948I was being serious. :? Sweden have a great record against England, and England are always slow starters. I think the Swedes will win the group, probably on goal difference.

I’m very sorry BM.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to spot the serious posts here.
I blame PB for that! :twisted:8 June, 2006 at 2:29 pm #223950Seems Rooney might be back for the later stages if England make it that far. I know a lot of England will be celebrating, but there’s no way the wonderbrat can be anywhere near full fitness.
What if he has a reoccurance of the injury and it rules him out of football for a year or something. Man U have every right to be concerned.8 June, 2006 at 5:43 pm #223951match fit or not.. i remember rooney making his debut for man united, coming back after an injury, not playing for a few months
whats he do..? gets a hatrick.. everything that lad touches turns to gold, i get a feeling he will be used as a sub for the last two group games, just to increase his match practice.. 15 mins a game
being ericson, he does’nt care about the lads future does he? to be honest, after the world cup he has no care what so ever, unless he plans to take over sir alex?
its all or nothing for sven, hes gonna play him
gerrard will be fine, we don’t really need him or rooney this saturday though, the big test will be sweaden, we have always struggled against them, and we need to make sure we win the group to avoid germany, unless germany finish 2nd.. then maybe a little ploy could be involved where we wanna lose against sweaden just to avoid the germans :)
8 June, 2006 at 6:17 pm #223952The difference is Soulie in the game you mentioned I presume Man U wouldent have had him on in that game if he wasnt 100 percent.
There’s no way he could be 100 percent fit if he plays in this World Cup for England. 50 percent I’d imagine. -
