my kid went on holiday with his cousins in august. he met a girlfriend from newcastle. my daughter says after 2 days he had a newky accent. :D

1 October, 2008 at 6:41 pm #377013I flick from English to Essex most days, and everybodies used to it now. Though when I work with someone for the first time and they hear me speak to my mum and dad they are normally a bit gob-smacked.
Its a respek thing.

I said Merthyr effing Tydfil love, same as you!
I so dont have a Scottish accent :( I still sound Welsh to me :?
