On the radio this morning was a topic about old and memorable adverts. Which ones are memorable to you?. Lets start with the 70s one of coca cola…id like to teach the world to sing….( ive got myself humming that now grrrr)

an earlier and equally mis-spent youth than Su…I associate the first ad with the break in ITV’s The Buccaneers, a rip roaring adventure tale which was almost as good as Treasure Island (the tv series, not the film, but still with Robert Newton squinting his face as he called out ” aye, aye, me ‘earties”). Which reminds me of Sir Lancelot – ahem – a mis-spent youth (as compared to the cardigan man’s mis-spent sniffing).
Also with singing the first ad with my brother and sister while enjoying the adventure of being driven in a car
