Somehow murray won against the talented seeded Ginepri…He was physically fu,cked to the hardest degree. He won the first set, 7-6, then lost the second, 6-2, then won the third, while being a break down at 4-3, to win it 6-4…He could barely move after the first set, and somehow won lol
17 August, 2006 at 9:56 pm #235419Brave Murray battles past Ginepri
Murray will move inside the world’s top 20 in next week’s rankings
Andy Murray continued his superb run of form on American hardcourts with a three-set win over Robby Ginepri at the Cincinnati Masters on Thursday.
The 19-year-old followed up his defeat of Roger Federer with a 7-6 (7-3) 2-6 6-4 victory against American Ginepri. In soaring temperatures, a tired Murray looked to be struggling going into the final set but the teenager came back from a break down for a stunning win.
The Scot will play Andy Roddick or Juan Ignacio Chela in the last eight.
