Has you all know there a lof of good causies out there and they don’t need your cash, they need your time.

Well done you. Which particular ones do you participate in? Most of my spare time (when I have any) is took up with bird/parrot rescue. The rest of the time is spent spending precious time with my boys and husband, who I dont see nearly enough of.
I totally admire your giving up of your time. Tell us more about what exactly you do. I for one would love to read some of your many happenings :wink: :D
Gosh Sharon, now there’s a coincidence. I also spend a lot of my free time rescuing parrots. Most of them are called ”Polly” but I have resucued one recently called ” Jemima” (or was that a duck?).
Once rescued, I pass them on to members of the gay community, with whom they are an instant success. A ‘must have’ accessory as it were. They spend the rest of their lives in the lap of luxury saying “Who’s a pretty boy then?” ….. which may account for their popularity with their new masters.

Well Cass I am a bit more hardcore and will be taking time in the New Year to become recruiter again.
We are looking for trained skilled staff for more important projects, but the people we need have to be approach in person and not over a web page.
We manage to get 20 volunteers for the Kurdish areas of northern Iraq, but they’re all trade teaching staff from technology colleges.
Give the how Iraq has been for the past year, this project has been delayed until things in prove.
