Im hoping someone can help me, i have had a blue screen error message a few times and each time its telling me its a faulty device or driver. Can anyone tell me how i find out which driver is faulty and how i remove it once found. Would be very grateful, thanks.

OK start from the beginning and give us a little bit more to work with.

First: What operating system are you using??? (i.e. Windows 98; ME; 2000; XP (Home or Pro); Vista)

Secondly: In order to diagnose a BSOD error (BSOD = Blue Screen Of Death) we need to know the wording that appears on it ESPECIALLY the reference number for the ‘fatal error’.

If you would post this information, chances are that we can find the cause of the fault and suggest a fix or a ‘work-around’.

Good stuff. It would help if you could copy the entire wording on the BSOD screen and provide this, as it will assist in figuring out what may be causing it.

for your information, Windows XP is a pretty stable Operating System and isn’t prone to BSOD crashes (unlike say Windows 98X). If you are getting them frequently, then you can assume that you do have a problem lurking around in the background somewhere.
