Ohhhh  …. The ‘sense’ of the opinion….  What exactly does that mean ? Does there have to be an ulterior motive for someone to change their mind ? I said the EU’s manner of dealing with Brexit may well work against remainers…. but only the more seedy characters it would seem , in Your opinion…. why don’t you research CT and find out ?  Don’t be pedantic about it tho.

    What a ridiculous statement……

I really, really don’t have the slightest opinion of what you’re talking about.

I meant that his opinion doesn’t strike me as sensible.

How are fat eurocrats creaming off billions from our country??

Bankers have creamed off billions? Yes.

But who are the fat eurocrats, and how do they cream off billions??

Sounds good until you think about it, then it really doesn’t make sense.

Like the idea that by ceasing to be one of the net contributors to the EU budget, we’ll all be in the money. Or that leaving the EU would be like a walk in the park, as Gove said during the campaign. Who’s to disbelieve them?

That campaign was characterised by lies and simplifications on both sides form beginning to end.

No wonder that a huge number of people, especially youngsters who then had no vote,  feel angry at being lied and bullied out of the EU. The big demo showed their feeling that teh brexit vote was a right-wing coup aused by cameron’s stupidity.

As Nigel Farage said on the eve of a referendum he thought he would lose, if it’s narrow we’re treating it as unfinished business.

Where does he state they have creamed off billions ?

    #1108603

” Well, if good ol’ trustworthy and reliable Chris Tarrant is saying so…”

why did you say this then ?  why is his opinion not trust worthy ?

    #1108604

I’m pretty sure there are people who dont like me ?  AND you …. do our opinions then not matter ?

    #1108605

You really do like to nitpick.

Sorry, I was giving him a more rational approach than he actually had.

He didn’t say billions. He said a blatter scale, whihc is actually sillier.

His opinions don’t seem to me to be trustworthy because he’s a man who talks in terms of a blatter scale rather than saying anything specific.

Or are you going to start nitpicking over the different uses of the word trustworthy?

I’m sure his opinions are taken seriously by some, or they wouldn’t create such a silly meme, but to me he’s saying nothing.

Ohhhh  …. The ‘sense’ of the opinion….  What exactly does that mean ?

still waiting for an explanation as to what that actually means…..

    #1108607

Is it the ‘sense’ that now he is Pro Brexit and therefore his opinion doesn’t count…. to you …?

    #1108608

He said Blatter scale because he is a presenter and football fan and people could relate to it, normal people ….

Is there something wrong with you?

So angry with me for some reason known only to you that you can’t read rationally??

    I said

I meant that his opinion doesn’t strike me as sensible.

    and then explained –

How are fat eurocrats creaming off billions from our country??

Bankers have creamed off billions? Yes.

But who are the fat eurocrats, and how do they cream off billions??

Sounds good until you think about it, then it really doesn’t make sense.

    duh!

If you still don’t follow, then you really are too disturbed to read properly and I ain’t explaining again.
