I bet it was that Des leading her astray
23 March, 2006 at 12:27 am #204697But surely ‘normal’ would be a good example to set to a nation??
I mean, it’s not the ‘most exciting and outlandish mum’ of the year award, is it? :D
(Cos she’s NEVER win that)

I am not the kind of mum, I smeared glitter for 3 hours(with my son) on my sons bedroom wall, he wanted the northern lights in his bedroom, he had seen it in a book ( The Magic Sky by Lucy Richards ) Some mums would be like Oh no you’re not having that!!! it will ruin my walls, some mums are so normal they won’t let their kids express themselves for fear of them not being “normal”
My kids have boundaries but are free to express their anger, thoughts and sense of style. 8)
Sian…that IS normal 8) And pretty cool.
Abnormal would be letting them do drugs in the house or buying them cigarettes….etc
or making them live with plain walls

23 March, 2006 at 12:51 am #204701i don’t think you can judge any mum, without being a son or a daughter
to judge a celeb is impossbile.. media build things up, you don’t know the truth, or what lies benieth and what goes on behind closed does
everyone should love thier own mum, and not worry about other mums
23 March, 2006 at 12:57 am #204702I’m not saying you wouldn’t help them recover :? Anyone would.
She may have helped then in that area, but as someone else has pointed out, she’s not exactly a great example in other areas, is she.
As I said earlier, I don’t think she’s BAD…she prob does her best, I just don’t think she is the example we should set our standards by.
