We may all have bad times , we all have times where we wonder just really what it is all about.

BUT children sadly are not afforded that luxury.

It may well depend on circumstance , it may well depend more likely upon circumstances
    beyond childrens control.

That circumstance is truly beyond their control and that is what Children In Need is all about , it is about helping the less fortunate particularly the children but also their direct families who need more support than thankfully most of us will ever need.

As Children In Need donates all their proceeds to the most needy in Britain it is as good a cause that anyone could donate to and i hope that many of you do indeed donate to help some of the more needy in our society. Think on ….. it might be anyone of us that need that help and support one day. That thought is rather sobering so please help if you can .

Not much more to be said really …… just think on.

so by this post mellow im gathering u have also donated im not saying u have 2 say yes or no whether u have or are . but makes ya thread abit stupid nd a hypocrite if u say others need 2 nd u have not .

Clearly one of those situations where if you’ve got nothing nice to say, than say nothing at all.

Good post Mellow, it’s definitely something to think about. Our children are the future they say.

Not everyone needs to tell others what charities they’ve donated to and how much…some of us like to keep it private….doesn’t mean that we haven’t donated.

no Danny you idiot you said

“so by this post mellow im gathering u have also donated im not saying u have 2 say yes or no whether u have or are . but makes ya thread abit stupid nd a hypocrite if u say others need 2 nd u have not.”

so therefore you implied he’s a hypocrite and contradicted yourself.
    1. he doesn’t have to say if he gave money
    2. he’s stupid for posting this thread and not saying if he gave money or not.

Just feck off Danny once and for all.

When you manage to string a coherent sentence together maybe there won’t be the confusion…just a thought.

First Mellow didn’t say everyone has to donate, he simply implied it would be nice IF they did.
As for sending money over – over where exactly Danny, Children in Need is to help those in YOUR own Country.
Try reading other peoples posts correctly before giving out that no-one reads your correctly.

And there posts not threads fgs, this is a post in Mellow’s thread, do you understand that even.

    your ignorance no’s no bounds.

In 1980, the BBC held its first telethon, a single programme lasting a whole evening, devoted to raising money exclusively destined for charities working with children in the United Kingdom. The new format, presented by Terry Wogan, Sue Lawley and Esther Rantzen, saw a dramatic increase in public donations: £1 million was raised that year. The telethon format has been retained each year since and grown in scope to incorporate further events broadcast on radio and online. As a regular presenter, Wogan has become firmly associated with the annual event, continuing to front the event through into 2012 after scaling down his other BBC commitments.
In 1988, BBC Children in Need became a registered charity (number 802052) in England and Wales, followed by registration in Scotland (SC039557) in 2008.

The money contributed to Children in Need is distributed to organisations supporting children in the UK aged 18 and under who have mental, physical or sensory disorders; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, sexual abuse or neglect.

    Do you understand yet?
