Blimey, yesterday I had a little girl in the shop feeling miserable with a persistent cough and I offered her a chocolate telling her it was good for coughs…and today I read this!

Theres no way I could munch on a bar if I had a sore throat……………in fact if I eat too much of it, it actually gives me a sore throat.
Did anyone ever have salt liquorice for a bad throat, it really works. I was told opera singers use it before a performance. Truly its really good with sore throats.

I get it at a little shop in Grassington Jen, its a tiny Ye Olde Sweety Shoppe… it was the owner told me about Salt Liquorice, he was probably just off loading old stock on me but I’m a sucker for a good tale, and I fancy myself as an opera singer… :D :D :D
