    I’m sure all (save only the most myopic partisan) would agree that the team have yet to deliver any form of consistently decent performance. They have been – to use an ill constructed oxymoron – amazingly ordinary.

    Yet despite such splutters and stumbles, and thanks to a ludicrously easy draw.. here they stand.. One game away from a World Cup semi final.
    A depleted Portugal bar their way. It could bode very well! Now may be the time they are found out… or now indeed may be the time they finally deliver the goods.

    I suspect (or at least hope for) the latter… :)

    Honest… I do 8-[ …. :wink:
