We’ve been a computer and internet household for about 7 years now. All three of us use our 2 computers (one old and creaky) quite a lot. The others do games but I don’t. In my case the time I spend on the comp replaces time I’d have been watching TV in our pre computer days.
The only harm I think the computer’s done us is to take up too much of our time that could theoretically have been used for more constructive purposes, although I have become an budding armchair expert on lots of topics from the net.
What I was wondering today is whether anyone knows of people who have voluntarily turned their backs on the home computer age. I don’t mean technophobes who never got on with computers in the first place but people who were well into them but decided to throw off the yoke and live without their computer through choice.
I don’t think we’re there yet, in fact Mrs. is talking about replacing ‘Old and Creaky’ with something slimmer and blacker.

oh and i turn my back on my pc every morning when i go to work

Slimmer and blacker actually meant a Dell with a slimline monitor!!
