    Friend of mine who is a chef, told me the other day, when you have cooked anything (pan) with milk or cream to put it in COLD water for 20 mins and then just rinse it out- it works – anyone else got anything to reciprocate?!

    To peel garlic cloves quicker, microwave them first for 10 seconds. They pop out of their skin instantly.
