I don’t like savoy cabbage, it’s too dark for me, but a variation on the same theme – thinly slice white cabbage, chop 2 rashers of bacon into small pieces. A small knob of butter in the pan, fry the bacon for a minute or two, then add the cabbage and cook for about 4 minutes and throw in a tablespoon of caraway seeds a minute before the end.

29 October, 2010 at 7:57 am #450661Jen that was one of the cooking tips I was given for xmas dinner………saute the bacon etc then throw it ontop of your sprouts. There was somthing to do with chesnuts too but ive forgotten. (gonna try it :lol: )
